Collection: F-GAS

The new European Unions F-Gas Regulation No 517/2014 became law on 1 January 2015. This imposed legal obligations on operators of equipment that contain F-Gases (refrigerants such as HFC & HCFC) this new legal requirement places the need for personnel working in the air conditioning & refrigeration industry to prove competence and satisfy a knowledge and understanding level that will enable them to achieve certification and comply with the new F-Gas regulations. The regulations apply to all stationary equipment containing F-Gases. Polar Pumps Ltd is already approved to provide training and assessments to enable candidates to achieve certification.
